The Origin of RITUALE

The post-it notes started during my pregnancy with my son, Teddy. I was writing affirmations in black marker on ugly blue sticky notes and pinning them to my bathroom mirror.

They worked. They kept me grounded through the hardest stretches. But every time we had company, I'd peel them off and stash them in a drawer where they'd get crinkled and forgotten.

I had the idea then to create a deck of affirmation cards beautiful enough to live out in the world; not hidden. Not woo-woo or DIY scratch notes but an intentional piece of home decor that happens to do meaningful inner work.

It wasn't until I lost my brother to leukemia that I actually built it. That kind of grief shed the skin of who I had been and forced me to become someone new.

The tools I needed to navigate that transformation didn't exist in a form I'd want to live with. So, I made them.

RITUALE is the product of both: the aesthetic insight that came from carrying a child, and the deeper purpose that came from losing someone I loved.

What began as a personal need became a philosophy: the things that shape us most deeply should be worthy of living beside us.
